Why does something always have to break? Tilling & struggles of land management
05-11-20. Join me for another 'reality' episode as the day started out very promising (as often happens), and then something has to break down, and screw the whole thing up! Uggghhh!! But this is reality here on our Southern Illinois farm, and we keep things real here at Kapper Outdoors, because the fact of the matter is that achieving high land management goals, deer habitat land management and farming type stuff is NEVER easy, and always comes with many different challenges, much like today's challenge of equipment breaking down just when you need it the most! This year I am going to work up all of the 10 or so acres that I plan to plant in soybeans for our wildlife management conservation program and plant it in soybeans, but with all of the other things going on it has been challenging just finding some time, as well as DRY weather to get the 10 acres worked up. Join me for today's episode to see how things go, and of course, another equipment break down, even though we use new, or relatively new equipment! Thanks for joining us, be sure to stay tuned as we do overcome this adversity and start to get some soybeans planted! Also consider subscribing to follow all of our land management projects at both our Illinois farm and our Kentucky farm, Branson tractor projects, our Kentucky farmhouse rehab project, Wildlife photography, wildlife habitat improvement projects, wildlife conservation projects, Bobcat Skid steer projects, Fixing pond dam leaks, Polaris Ranger XP 1000 Northstar trail riding, DIY rustic home decor, DIY rustic furniture, Bobcat mini excavator projects, and much more country living adventure. Thank you
