Father Jeremiah talks about his favorite canticle from the Book of Common Prayer: The Te Deum Laudamus. This canticle is a hymn of praise to the trinitarian God which follows the reading of the Old Testament. It recalls the worship that God receives from all of creation and reminds us of Jesus coming to accomplish salvation. It points us toward the Apostles' Creed in structure. It also brings to the forefront that one's worship is never isolated from the whole of the Church throughout time and space.
