05-11-20. Join me for some deep woods Illinois land management action as I work on Fixing deep woods trail ruts & water erosion issues with the Bobcat e42 mini Excavator. This is a project that we have been working on consisting of land clearing, some excavator work, a couple of watering holes, and a boat launch fix up. Today we'll be in the Bobcat mini excavator re routing water erosion runoff channels so that we redirect the water flow so that it does not keep coming in to the new field that we just cleared, and keep the wooded road/trail wet most of the year. After I re route the new ditches, this should keep the new wooded road and trails much drier throughout the year. Also, stay tuned for more mini projects from this land management property series, as I still have one more good sized watering hole/small pond to build, and the boat launch to fix and the remainder of the land clearing to finish.
