Memorize His verses today! When we seek Him daily and remember His verses every day, we are more prepared for whatever the world throws at us. Today's Bible verse is Colossians 3:2, “Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.”

Colossians Chapter 3 verses 1 through 17 are teaching about our new self as Christians. In this passage, we are reminded to set our minds on Christ and not the world around us. Verse 2 tells us to focus on the ways of the Lord and not on the wrong all around us. What are these ways? Compassion, forgiveness, humility, gentleness, kindness, and patience. Today's Bible verse helps us remember His word when we need it to fulfill this instruction from Him. Number 5 - Scripture is God's wisdom to help us live more productive lives as we fulfill our purpose for His kingdom.
