Suicide car bomb attack in Somali capital
On November 25, local time, a suicide car bomb attack occurred in the prosperous area of Mogadi, the capital of Somalia, killing 8 people and injuring 17 others. The report stated that the target of the attack was the African Union peacekeeping mission in Somalia.
The photos of the scene showed that the buildings at the site of the explosion were densely built, and the white smoke from the explosion towered into the clouds. Some witnesses said that the explosion occurred during the rush hour, and gunshots were heard nearby before the explosion.
The report said the extremist group Somali al-Shabab claimed responsibility for the attack. Al-Shabaab in Somalia is an extremist organization associated with Al Qaeda, which has carried out several terrorist attacks in Somalia and its neighboring countries in recent years
