Considered one of the most perplexing mysteries to occur during WWII, on the morning of August 16, 1942, two US naval pilots seemingly disappeared without trace from the cabin of their dirigible airship while conducting a routine flight off the coast of California. What could have caused two highly trained military men, both of sound mind and body, to abandon an airworthy ship in mid-flight? This is the story, of the Ghost Blimp.
