Monkeypox outbreak continues to spread in Belgium

On the 13th local time, the Belgian health department announced that the country had found the fourth confirmed case of monkeypox.
Belgium became the first country to quarantine those infected with the monkeypox virus by requiring those infected to quarantine for 21 days, local media reported. As of the 14th, Belgium has reported 4 confirmed cases of monkeypox, of which 3 people participated in the same event.
The incubation period of monkeypox is usually 6 to 13 days, but it can also be as long as 21 days. The WHO issued an alert on the outbreak of monkeypox on the 14th, saying that the monkeypox virus will spread further.
