A little squirrel in the forest

Squirrels commonly eat pine nuts, hazelnuts and oak chestnuts, and sometimes bird eggs. When they eat, they often stand upright on the branches, hold them with their front paws and send them to their mouths. In autumn, squirrels store food for the winter, stuffing it into the cracks of old trees, stuffing it full. In winter, they also sometimes use their claws to claw through the thick snow to find food under the snow.
