SPICY ITALIAN SUB SALAD!! DITCH THE BREAD, MAKE IT IN A BOWL!!

Love that sub but not the carbs? Make your sub into a salad and enjoy! Today we are making our favorite Italian sub but in salad form. This has everything but the bun and boy is this delish! This is inspired by the "Sub in a Tub" they make at Jersey Mike's but in the style of the Italian Night Club sub with extra "Vito meat" from Jimmy Johns! This is so easy to do at home and way cheaper than going out! Use what you have and make it the way you love your sub. That means this is a very subjective salad. We love this version, but you may love a different style. So be creative, use what you have and enjoy!Show more

I am using some Genoa salami, sandwich pepperoni, ham, provolone and mozzarella cheese along with tomatoes, onions, pepperoncini, cherry peppers and sliced black olives. All tossed with finely shredded lettuce and our favorite Italian dressing. I have to tell you that this was so good Rick wanted to have it for supper the same night! It really is that delicious!

So give this sub into salad idea a try and make it your own! I am sure you and your family will love it! Remember you can always serve some rolls on the side for those who want to eat them.
