Day 157 of Let's Read the Bible - Deuteronomy 4, Psalm 129, 2 Thessalonians 3

Today we read about the covenant, laws, and decrees the Lord gave Israel. Moses emphasizes obedience from the Israelites so that they do not perish. The psalm is about those that are oppressed and how the Lord will repay evil and wicked people for the wicked they have sown. Paul concludes his letter by encouraging those in Thessalonica to continue to work hard and persevere.
