Telegrams? Operators? What Are They?

Ah, songs from the past about things no longer with us... certain generations have no clue as to what a telegram was or actually talked to an operator on the phone to find a phone number or put through a call to somebody so, as usual, when people forget the past, they're bound to repeat it. Funny how that works out... but the Segue City Special endures and here it is today for listening pleasure...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
