Russian news says Ukraine attacked Russian-held town

At least seven people were killed in an attack by Ukrainian armed forces on Monday (July 12) in the Russian-held town of Nova Kakhovka in Ukraine's southern Kherson region, Russian state news agency TASS said on Tuesday (July 12). Ukrainian officials said their forces had destroyed an ammunition depot in Nova Kakhovka. Reuters could not immediately verify the reports.
