What is the passage saying?
-What does this mean for me?
1.) V.31-35 Jesus testimony about Himself needed to be verified
-If Jesus recognized the need for multiple witnesses, I should too
-I should not hold myself or anyone esle as above the need to be verified
-I should realize how dedicated God is to the truth and to transparency
2.) v.36 The Father's works testify about who Jesus is
-I should understand my good works testify to the truth of Jesus
3.) v.37 No one has seen the Father nor heard His words
-I should believe God the Father is spirit & only revealed by Jesus
4.) v.38-39 Scriptures point to Jesus, otherwise empty of power
-I should seek Jesus in Scripture, not morality
5.) v.40 Those who come to Jesus can have life
-I should find my life in Jesus
