Singer Shankar Sahney, who gained popularity in the music industry with songs like Kudi Kurmuri and Jat Luteya Gaya, feels that the long diligent innings that he has played in the industry has, so far, been the most #remarkable_journey of his life.

Sahney, who is currently busy performing at cities across India, said, “I believe that an artiste who is earning big bucks in the industry might not necessarily be a successful human being, until and unless he satisfies his own desires and attains a sense of true accomplishment in his own life. That is far more creatively satisfying than earning big bucks sitting in one place.” Delhi roads are the most unsafe Sahney, who has been a victim of road rage in the past, also voiced his concern for the safety of commuters on Delhi’s roads. Recounting that experience, he said, “I still remember once I was heading home from a TV show shoot at night, and a few hooligans started chasing my car while I was on the move. They started disturbing and heckling my driver and ultimately stopped him and unnecessarily dragged him into a heated argument for driving rashly. I was surprised to hear their baseless allegations and then intervened to pacify them.
