Horror moment Russian missile hits apartment block in Ukraine killing at least 15

THIS is the horrifying moment a Russian missile obliterated a block of flats in Ukraine leaving at least 15 people dead.

More than 30 people were left trapped under the rubble of the five-storey building in Chasiv Yar, eastern Ukraine, officials said.

The block of flats partially collapsed after the strike on Sunday.

Shocking footage showed the terrifying moment the missile struck the building, sending a huge plume of thick black smoke into the night sky.

Officials said: "During the rescue operation, 15 bodies were found at the scene and five people were pulled out of the rubble."

Authorities said rescuers have managed to make contact with three people alive under the rubble.

Donetsk region Governor Pavlo Kyrylenko said at least 34 people are thought to still be trapped under the ruins.
