The third-person action-adventure game, STAR WARS 1313, brings the underworld of Coruscant, the most dangerous place in the STAR WARS galaxy, to life.

The game would begin with a prologue set on Tatooine between the prequel movies and the original trilogies.

The player takes on the role of an unidentified bounty hunter who gets quickly killed by a mysterious figure, subsequently revealed to be Boba Fett. Players then would assume the role of a young Boba Fett as he makes his way through Tatooine while serving Jabba the Hutt.

Players would have controlled the character in earlier versions of his armor. Fett's armor would have changed as the story progressed, eventually becoming more familiar to STAR WARS fans.

STAR WARS: 1313 would have revolved around Boba Fett in his early adulthood, navigating past the scum of civilization in an underground area of Coruscant known as Level 1313.

1313 involved Boba Fett searching for bounties while working for Jabba the Hutt, going through levels 1313 and the mysterious 1314. The main plot point revolved around the crime families of 1313 using Tauntauns to smuggle spice to other planets.

The game would have taken a more mature and gritty direction than previous STAR WARS video games.

According to LucasArts, the game emphasized fast-paced combat, and the game's hero would use human skills and gadgets rather than supernatural Force powers.

The game was based on the Unreal engine and featured full-body performance capture. The gameplay likened the Uncharted platform with huge set pieces.

LucasArts announced the game was in development with the help of artists across the Lucasfilm organization, including LucasArts, Industrial Light & Magic, Lucasfilm Animation Ltd., and Skywalker Sound.

"STAR WARS: 1313 dives into a part of the STAR WARS mythos that we've always known existed, but never had a chance to visit," LucasArts president Paul Meegan said in a statement.
