NEOSTYLIS LOU SNEARY 'BLUE' - Time to Assess the HEALTH of the rhizome!

2.5 years of deformed flower spikes, and only 2 perfect blooms each time, is long enough to recognize that something is NOT RIGHT with this beautiful hybrid. The whole orchid has 7 mature fans on it, and only the main fan actually bloomed, but nowhere near what is should have done. The first year of deformed bloom spike, I put down to not having acclimatized yet, but 2019, same story! So, now that the roots are actively growing and branching, it is time to have a look at the rhizome. Let me know if you have this hybrid and if you are able to successfully bloom clean spikes and abundant blooms. Thank you so much for watching!
