• Matt 9:33 In this case the evil spirits had distorted the faculty of speech (he withholds manifestations in several form). There was no apparent physical defect, but the devil’s power held the tongue and took from the man the ability to speak. As soon as the evil spirit was cast out than the dumb could speak and communicate with others. Again the crowd present was filled with wonder and said: The like was never seen in Israel. It was unheard of that a man should have such unlimited power, even over demons. Never before, also, had the appearance of the final deliverance been so fully realized. Jesus saves, heals, delivers, prospers and does a lot more.

• Matt. 9:34 In this chapter, the Pharisees accused Jesus of four different sins: blasphemy, befriending outcasts, impiety (no fasting), and serving Satan. Matthew shows how Jesus was maligned by those who should have received him most gladly. Why did the Pharisees do this? (1) Jesus bypassed their religious authority. (2) He weakened their control over the people. (3) He challenged their cherished beliefs. (4) He exposed their insincere motives. While the Pharisees questioned, debated, and dissected Jesus, people were being healed and lives changed right in front of them. Their skepticism was based not on insufficient evidence but on jealousy of Jesus' popularity.

• Matt. 9:35-38 While the detractors (Pharisees and the likes) were busy attacking Jesus, He was busy attacking the kingdom of darkness in line with His purpose. The enemy will out distractions out there against you, please stay focused don't be distracted. Looking at the multitudes, Jesus said to His boys, "Pray. The harvest is plenteous." He didn't say, "It's time for planting." He said, "It's ready for picking." I sense the same thing is true today, don't you? The harvest is ready. Don't let Satan whisper in your ear, "Your neighbors won't listen. Your relatives won't respond." No, the harvest is ready.

Personal Supplication
Father in the name of Jesus, help me stay focused on my well defined purpose and refuse to be distracted by satan and his co-horts. Heb 12:1-2
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
-2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Daily Protection Covenant Declaration
Because I dwell in the secret place of the most High, I shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
Surely he shall deliver me from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
He shall cover me with his feathers, and under his wings shall I trust: his truth shall be my shield and buckler.
I shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.
A thousand shall fall at my side, and ten thousand at my right hand; but it shall not come nigh me.
Only with my eyes shall I behold and see the wicked rewarded.

Because I have made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, my habitation;
There shall no evil befall me neither shall any plague come nigh my dwelling.
For God shall give his angels charge over me, to keep me in all my ways.
They shall bear me up in their hands, lest I dash my foot against a stone.
I shall tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt I trample under feet.
Because I have set my love upon God, therefore will He deliver me: He will set me on high, because I have known His name.
I shall call upon Him, and He will answer me: He will be with me in trouble; He will deliver me, and honour me.
