Pincher Creek Town Councillor Wayne Elliott Passes Away - July 12, 2022 - Micah Quinn
A Pincher Creek councillor who was well known in the community has died. Wayne Elliot passed away on July 9th while camping with his family. He was serving his fifth term as a councillor for the town before his unfortunate death. Pincher Creek Mayor Don Anderberg says Elliott was a stand up guy who loved the community and hockey.
No official cause of death was mentioned. The flag at Pincher Creek Town Hall has been lowered and a moment of silence will take place during the next council meeting on July 25th.
