Aerodynic Model 25 RQL-FAST

Memorial Day 2020.. This video is in remembrance of all those who served the public and are no longer here with us.

I mixed up my dates in this video.. not that anyone reads these. The bar was originally acquired from a Department in Clifton NJ in or around 2002. The Clifton VFD acquired the truck back in 1994, and the truck in question was a 1990 International Pumper. The build dates on the bar are 1990/91 so that seems to fit.

Our VFD retired the truck from front line service in 2010, moved to reserve status and used mostly for training. I assume that this bar was pulled from the apparatus sometime after 2010. I have some pictures of the unit prior to sale with a whelen low profile LED bar on it.. could be a liberty.

The apparatus that this bar was mounted to was called to respond during the 9/11 attacks in 2001. My understanding is that this unit then was kept on station for some time after the event to assist as needed.

This bar also belong to a good friend on mine and fellow VFF, Rich who sadly passed away in 2015.
