Eyelash disaster from contaminated adhesive!

I was only able to wear my mink eyelashes for about 10 hours when I had anaphylactic reaction to the adhesive used. The ER strongly advised removing the lashes immediately which was a horrible and very painful experience. Today, after using ice packs for 2 hours my eyes are still struggling with pain, swelling and inflammation. I was told never use these unless you have done a test run on your face to make sure the materials used won't cause this reaction.
