In today's "Quick Tip", I am going to show you how to access Federal Reserve Economic data before the FOMC meeting. This is known as the Beige Book.

The Federal Reserve releases this book eight times a year before the FOMC meeting. Many journalists, News reporters, hedge funds, and other very important eyes are on this document as soon as it is released.

It is not the only data that can be accessed from the federal reserve government website, but it is a widely used and important one.

Within the Beige Book, you will be able to see current economic conditions overal summary of the 12 federal reserve districts and a summary of the individual districts as well.

This helps get a good Macro view as to where federal reserve might take monetary policy in the near future.

Hope you find this quick tip valuable!
