In a nutshell, crony capitalism is a system where businesses and individuals with political connections are granted government favors that give them an unfair advantage in the free market. In this weeks Chairman's Report, Steve Hayes explores a particularly egregious example of crony capitalism that would benefit personal injury attorneys, and it's all made possible because deals like this can be buried in the Internal Revenue Code where the public will never see them. The FAIRtax won't wipe out crony capitalism entirely, but it will make it a lot harder to hide.
