In this video I am bank fishing ponds for largemouth bass and this whole video is just random tips for fisherman who are targeting largemouth bass in ponds. I will go over things like How to locate fish with no sonar, how to cover ground, how to chose lures, how to check the lunar phase, how to check the barometric pressure, how to think like a fish and several other easy fishing tips for beginners. Tight lipped fish are difficult to overcome but usually you can provoke a reaction strike if you try hard enough. This video offers some insight as what to do when fish aren’t biting. Sometimes you just need to know when to say the fish aren’t biting and decide to try later or a different day. Also a change in location can turn a failed trip into a success. Thats what I should have done this day lol.

The 2 best free apps for fishing in my opinion are the weather app (any weather app that shows the barometric pressure) I also use the weather app to time fishing trips around luls in rain, or to be on the water when the rain moves in but mainly I just try to pay attention to the barometric pressure so I can gauge for myself how it effects the fishing. The other baes free fishing app is Bass Forcast. Bass Forcast shows the best times of day to fish based on lunar phase. When you can line up good lunar phase with good barometric pressure that is a good time to call in sick to work or decide to put off that project you were going to work on because fishing will be hot! These active feeding frenzies are the best time to fish because the fish are actually feeding and don’t need to be tricked or provoked to bite. When the barometric pressure and the lunar phase are both not desirable this is when you must rely on reaction strikes and or provoking the fishes territorial nature.

Reel Michigan Anglers is a personal passion and my gift to fellow fisherman. In the future I hope to do more informational fishing videos and cover different types of fishing all across the great state of Michigan. My goal, time permitting is to fish as many different bodies of water for as many different fish species as I can get try hands on. I am a lansing michigan resident working towards transferring to MSU for Fisheries and wildlife. My goal is to expand operations and bring more educational and entertaining fishing videos to my subscribers. In the meantime you can count on me for the occasional video outlining the the techniques and areas I fish for Bass, Pike, Walleye, Steelhead, Salmon, Trout, Carp, Suckers, Catfish and Panfish ect. You can see additional videos and other fun fishing related info on my facebook page https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?... I Wouldn't be the fisherman I am today without other fisherman who taught me the things I know and I am a firm believer that the sport and conservation of fishing in Michigan is better when we share it with one another. Wether your trying to lean a new spot to fish, a new crank bait to try, advise on what fishing rod to use, what fishing line to use, what color spinner a coho likes, what color jig a steelhead prefers, how to rig live bait, match the hatch, understand fish migration, the effects of barometric pressure or any other aspect of fishing the best way to learn is from other fisherman. That combined with trial and error and pure time spent on the water is the key to improving your fishing game. The better you get the more fun it is and the more we share the fun with others the more future generations will benefit from it. My goal is to kickstart that process by giving you loads of tips for fisherman, easy fishing tips for beginners, Best lure recommendations, How to fishing videos, how to rig videos, and other cool fishing videos. I will take you on a visual tour of fishing destinations you may wish to try, show you how I rig my rods, show you what lures I use to catch fish, What fish I target during the various seasons and how I target them. Budget friendly fishing gear reviews are another thing I plan to continue to deliver.
