Maine the medicine is a Queens new York mc, who's been making a name for himself throughout Pennsylvania for the last 10 years. Spending every summer in Queensbridge NY, his older cousin Sudan became a big inspiration for him. Watching him freestyling in the park with MC Shane and Blaq Poet, he wanted to be just like him. MCs like Kane, Rakim and KRS One really intrigued Maine and he knew he wanted to have an impact just like them. In his 32 year journey he's been apart of some amazing Dope groups (Third Rail, I.M.F , Mercy Gang, Lyrical Assassins, and B.O.B to name a few. With over 10 mixtapes, 10 group albums and solo albums, Maine the Medicine continues to keep repping for the culture.
