How I prepare my INORGANIC MEDIA to set my orchids up for success! STERILIZED, including my mounts!

When it comes to INORGANIC MEDIA, starting off with a CLEAN PRODUCT is a MUST! We always talk about roots and aeration etc., and we must always remember that this is vital for the over all health of our orchids, no roots, no orchid or a rescue, at best! In this video, I briefly cover the simple steps of cleaning inorganic media. My example with leca, is applicable for ALL inorganic media. When we pick up our media from the supplier, it will be very dusty and possibly harbor some spores that we do not want to perpetuate in our pots along with our orchids. Cleaning and sterilizing the media, prior to use, give the orchids a great start in their acclimatization process. If there is any detail you discover that I may not have covered thoroughly enough, please feel free to point this out to me.
