A Theoretical Note on Tax Evasion

There is another new study out on tax evasion. Not surprisingly, it finds that a consumption tax like the FAIRtax is much harder to evade than the current income tax. In this week's Chairman's Report, Steve Hayes goes thru this new study and again makes the case that the DC elites are propping up the income tax for their own benefit.
