As the war in Ukraine approaches the six-month mark, the only party that seems to be willing and capable to mediate is Turkey, which is all the more astonishing given that Ankara continues selling weapons to Ukraine and growing its trade with Russia while also remaining a willing, albeit somewhat disruptive, member of NATO.
