The difference between real soap and commercially made soap

This is our first episode of soap chat. We discuss the main differences in real, handmade, artisan soap, and the commercially made soap that you can buy at the supermarket or grocery store. Most people think of artisan soap as a novelty item. A pretty little soap that you can put on display or gift during holiday time. Artisan soaps are pretty, but they are useful too. And way better for you than the detergent that is commercially made. Commercial soaps are filled with synthetic lathering chemicals and detergents and pressed into bars after being pumped full of preservatives to ensure they have a shelf life that will survive nuclear fallout. They’re drying, irritate the skin, and leave behind a film that continues to wreak havoc on your skin’s natural ph level. We are here to let you know about the benefits of using real soap. Soap that has no synthetic chemicals in it. Soap that still has glycerin for the benefit of your skin. Soap that is made with high quality ingredients. Soap that you can feel confident using on yourself and your family.
