DAY 23 / 2022 Wheat Harvest / July 8 (Lewellen, NE)

July 8 began with lots of humidity and knowing we would probably have most of the day away from the wheat field.

So, we took a quick trip to Ash Hollow and Windlass Hill.

One thing my grandma did while I was with them on harvest was to encourage the love of history. At the time, I didn’t appreciate it. Now…I love it. And am so thankful she instilled this in me.

We did get started again in the field. Only to be quickly shut down with moisture.
