Welcome to Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics, Nintendo's collection of 51 classic board, card, and other games that just dropped on Nintendo Switch today. Growing up with a family full of tabletop gamers, I figured this would make a nice addition to my collection. Here, I'm going to learn to play all 51 games from all over the world. Some will take longer to learn than others, but I'm a quick learner. The first game on our list of 51 is Mancala, arguably the oldest game in the world dating back 6000 years. In this game, two players compete to collect more stones in their store. Each player will take turns choosing one of their pockets and moving its stones around the board toward their store. But there are a couple twists to keep in mind. If the last stone you move on your turn ends up in your store, you get another turn. Also, if your last stone lands in one of your empty pockets, you can capture the other player's stones from the pocket across from the one you land in and move them all into your store. Once a player has no stones left to move, the game is over and the other player gets to move all the stones still on their side into their store. There are 48 stones in total, and whichever player has more in their store at the end of the game wins.

There are four levels of CPU players: Normal, Hard, Amazing, and Impossible. Beat Impossible mode to master the game. Also, the game keeps track of your high score, and each time you play it, you can unlock a piece of trivia about the game. There are five pieces of trivia about Mancala:

1. While its roots are planted in Africa and Asia, Mancala is played all over the world.
2. Some say that mancala originated in 4000 BC (Based on archaeological evidence found in Jordan).
3. In Africa, some people play mancala by digging holes and using real stones (or seeds).
4. Playing mancala is just like sowing seeds! Well, except that you use stones instead of seeds.
5. In some traditions, the winner is allowed to mock and insult the loser. The loser isn't allowed to reply or even get upset. (Honestly, I feel like this is a common tradition in any competitive multiplayer game (especially in online gaming), which is why I don't play them as much as I used to. And when I do win, I choose not to partake in the tradition)
