Mute swan with a temper and a gentle background

Mute swans live mainly in open lakes, bays, ponds, reservoirs, bays, marshes and slow-moving rivers and their banks which have plenty of aquatic vegetation. Mainly feed on aquatic plants, including roots, stems, leaves, buds and seeds of aquatic plants; I eat mollusks, insects and small fish. Nest in reeds, composed of aquatic plants and soil, covered with weeds and down. It lays 5-7 eggs in summer, the most among swans. The incubation is completed by the female and lasts 35 to 36 days. Both parents feed their young together. Distributed in Europe, North Africa, central and southern Asia.
