Seahorse is a general name of several small fishes of warm sea in the family Of Sea dragons of The order Nematodidae. It is a small Marine animal with a body length of 5 ~ 30 cm. The name derives from the head bending at a right Angle to the body. The head is like a horse's head and forms an Angle with the body. The snout is a long tube, the mouth is small, and the dorsal fin is composed of fins. The eyes can move independently.

Seahorses are slow but efficient at catching fast, hiding copepods found in the Atlantic, Europe, Pacific and Australia.

In natural waters, seahorses usually prefer to live in the slow currents of coral reefs. Since they are not good at swimming, they often use their prehensile tails to tightly frame the branches of coral and the leaves of seaweed to secure their bodies from being washed away by the current
