WALCHENSEE - BEAUTIFUL PLACE IN BAVARIA | HIKING AT BAVARIAN ALPS

Walchensee is one of the deepest and largest alpine lakes in Germany. The crystal clear water makes it one of the most beautiful lakes in Germany. Walchensee lies within Bayern and it is the best day trip from Munich by public transportation. To visit this place, you need to travel south towards the direction of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
One can do many activities like Hiking to Herzogstand, Jochberg, Kesselberg, Biking, water sports at Walchensee, or even swim in the lake.
We took the cable car to reach the Herzogstand followed by the trek to the top of Herzogstand. To enjoy the best of Walchensee, we stopped at Einsiedl. It had very less crowd as compared to the main Walchensee stop and we could enjoy more.
