It is fascinating to see what the hybridization of orchids produces. Beautifully shaped blooms, amazing color combinations, and high bloom count on spikes. Spikes that grow from the same node where a previous spike already had bloomed, behaving like some dendrobiums. They look like reed stem epidendrums, and can grow to impressive hights, but take up very little horizontal space on the shelf. It takes a long time for a spike to bloom, once it emerges from the apex of a cane, but the good thing is, they also bloom for a very long time. Up to 2 months can be the norm. In this video I have a little show and tell about the 2 that are currently in bloom and an epidendrum cross that has the same growth behavior. I appreciate you taking the time to watch this video, and I sincerely hope that you enjoy the blooms! Any questions? Feel free to leave them in the comments below, and I will be happy to answer :)
