Sunday Longplay - Doom: Deathless (Switch Add-On) - Episode 3: Deathless (UV-Max)

This week on Sunday Longplay, after a short week's break for my birthday co-op longplay of Streets of Rage 4, the newest console Doom add-on Deathless continues with its third episode: Deathless! Just like with the previous episodes, I will be going for 100% kills and secrets on Ultra-Violence difficulty. The maps in episode 3 are where the game starts to get a bit dangerous. The levels are about the same size as they were in episode 2, maybe a little bigger, but they're still not oversized. However there are plenty of tough enemy placements and traps including three more Cyberdemon encounters in E3M5, E3M7, and E3M9.

Episode 3 provided a fair challenge, though still easier than anything past episode 1 in No End In Sight (which I will get back to once I learn all 20 secrets in E3M7). And like the first two episodes, there's a secret level that pays homage to a level from Doom 2 (in this case Map 5: The Waste Tunnels). The secret exit in episode 3 can be found in E3M6: Dire Prayers, and is only accessible the same way as the secret exit in the original E3M6: Mt. Erebus - via rocket jump. However, it's much tougher to hit this time around because you have to position yourself so you blast yourself through a narrow hole in the structure where the secret exit is, and you also can't blast yourself too far, otherwise you'll fall off the ledge on the other side.
