Jac is back and wanted to learn how to build a wire form buck. We chose the headlight for a 1937 Studebaker Express pickup. We show the viewers the model of the pickup and then one of the ways we draw it out using our magnetic board. Wray then makes a cardboard template of the light and draws it out on the table so as you're bending the wire you can keep checking it with the drawing. Once the pieces have been shaped according to the template Jac tig welds it all together. Our metal shaping classes started up again this past weekend and with the help of the students, all the panels have been made and hopefully they can weld them together before they all leave.
