Shop talk, and why I dont take custom orders

When I say I dont take custom orders, I mean I dont make anything that would be considered a one off or a design of knife or sheath that I dont already make. I put hours and sometimes days into designing and refining my knives and sheaths and I dont have the time or desire to stop making knives That I know can be made within the confines of my machinery and skill level, to try and figure out if I can make something that I dont already make. Every inch of steel I buy, has a price on it and I cant afford to waste any of it or sell it for less than I intended to make from it when I bought it. This is the most expensive hobby I have ever had and I have to maintain good cost to finished product numbers or I wont be able to continue to make knives. My shop has its own water bill, its own electric bill and its own yearly property taxes. THANKS FOR UNDERSTANDING THAT WHEN I TURN DOWN REQUESTS TO MAKE KNIVES THAT ARE NOT ON MY KNIFE MAKING MENU.

I am an amazon affiliate , Shopping through my link doesn't cost you a thing, but I get a small fee when you do. Thanks! https://amzn.to/2VKQjIV
