In conversation with a group of nuns, Dr. Paul Wong first speaks about a new kind of happiness rooted in Chinese philosophy. He then speaks about the dangers of pursuing certain kinds of happiness, the differences between religion and spirituality, the downsides to certain kinds of psychotherapies (such as ACT, CBT, and DBT), and the reality that one faces in today's society. He ends by explaining how he managed to find success without conforming to the larger positive psychology movement.
The nuns are from the Great Wisdom Buddhist Institute.
