Liz Truss seen as contender for next Tory leader

Truss, the British foreign secretary, has announced that she will run for the next Conservative Party leader and prime minister, and she is also the tenth Conservative Party person to announce her candidacy for the position.
Liz Truss, considered a strong contender to be the next leader of the Conservative Party, was elected MP in 2010 and has held positions in governments such as Cameron Theresa May.
