Due to it's free-floating firing pin, chambering a round in an AR-15 leaves a light indent on the primer where the firing pin's momentum causes it to go forward as the bullet is loaded. In today's video, we look at what that means for a round that's repeatedly loaded and whether there's a danger of an accidental discharge or rendering the primer inert and unfireable.
