Gohmert: What Happened to George Floyd Was "Atrocious" & We Need to Find Solutions

Congressman Louie Gohmert (TX-01) posed questions to witnesses in a House Judiciary Committee “Oversight Hearing on Policing Practices and Law Enforcement Accountability.”
He expressed his sympathy to Mr. George Floyd’s family and others by stating, “I know it is difficult for those who have lost loved ones – you have our deepest sympathy as do all of those families who have lost loved ones in the aftermath.” He described George Floyd's death as "atrocious."

Regarding potential solutions to police practices he noted, “Hopefully, the majority will allow more input than the zero input we’ve [Republicans] had on the bills so far.”

Additionally, when asked about the Judeo-Christian founding of the United States by Congressman Gohmert, House Judiciary Choirman Nadler would not allow the witness, Pastor Darrell Scott, to finish his statement regarding that subject matter.
