SOMETHING EVIL 1972 CBS Made-for-TV Movie originally broadcast on Jan 21, 1972. A married couple (Darren McGavin & Sandy Dennis) with two young children move into a Pennsylvania farmhouse that turns out to be inhabited by some kind of evil spirit. The home and countryside seem idyllic until strange things start to occur. Eventually, the wife believes something is trying to possess her.

This is Steven Spielberg's second TV Movie, after Duel, and that makes it a better effort than the average TV production. It also benefited from McGavin's extremely popular Night Stalker TV Movie that aired just 10 days earlier.
