Peru oil spill bigger than previously thought

Oil spill off the Peruvian coast earlier this month was twice as big as previously reported, according to the country's government.

Contamination of the city’s oldest Ancon resort’s waters made fishermen’s work impossible to do, consequently leading to economic problems.

Reportedly 21 beaches around Lima were seriously damaged by the oil spill.
