Activists block Paris highway demanding green renovation

Environmental activists stopped traffic on a highway in the French capital, calling for renovation of the country’s housing stock. Protesters staged a sit-in on the road, prompting scuffles with commuters who attempted to drag members of the group out of the way. Local police intervened and detained the demonstrators.
