Among the hard hit airlines during the COVID-19 pandemic, Cathay Pacific announced plans for a HKD $39 billion recapitalization plan backed by the Hong Kong government. The airline looks to the Hong Kong SAR government to help the airline navigate through the unprecedented crisis.
