In ancient Srima, there was a lonely and melancholy soul, Ammu. He wandered the world just to find a friend.

He suffered an ancient sorcery curse and was doomed to eternal loneliness, because to be touched by him meant death, to be loved by him meant ravage.

All who claimed to have seen Amume described him as a living corpse, a small man with a livid bandage all over his body. Many fairy tales have been made up around Ammu,

Folklore and epic legends have been told for so long that no one can tell truth from fiction.

The artisans of Srima agreed on certain things, such as the fact that the morning wind always blows west, that eating too much on a new moon is a bad omen,

The greatest treasures are always buried under the heaviest rocks. What they could not agree on, however, was amu's story.

In one of the most commonly heard stories, Amumu was a member of the founding royal family of Zorimar, but the family contracted a disease,

Causing flesh and blood to decay with terrifying speed. As the youngest child in the family, Amumu was isolated in his own bedroom,

He befriended a lady of the court who listened to him through the wall. She would tell him about the affairs of the court,

And how her grandmother had mysterious powers to bring solace to the lonely prince.

One morning, the lady-in-waiting brought the news that Amu mu's last brother had died, which meant that he had become the Emperor Zurima.

The maid of honor knew that Ammu had to bear the sad news alone. She unlocked the door of her bedroom and rushed in to comfort him.

Amu hugged her, but just as they touched, he stepped back in surprise, realizing that he had brought the family's misfortune upon her.
