As the name suggests, the XJ220 is all about speed. The 220 stands for 220 miles per hour, which means the car is designed to exceed the equivalent of 354.2 kilometers per hour.

This plan was first announced in 1988, and the original car had a 6.2-liter V12 engine. However, due to some reasons, only 542 horsepower of the 3.5-liter V6 turbocharged engine was used, and only 281 units of the XJ220 were produced from 1992 to 1994.
