China and Russia express concern over water release at Fukushima nuclear plant

China and Russia have voiced deep concerns over Japan's plan to discharge contaminated water from the Fukushima nuclear power plant into the ocean.

The two leaders said that Japan should handle water from the plant in a transparent manner... that conforms with international laws and agreements with neighboring countries.

Japanese media reported the news, calling the wastewater "treated radioactive water."
