The Real State of the Union

The Mayor called in this morning saying he wanted something spicier today and all this week with "segues with some bite to them" so we've obliged him with a little ditty featuring Jethro Tull and Stevie Wonder that perfectly sums up the dumpster fire that is the current administration in Washington.

Stevie Wonder wrote his song about Nixon originally but it is timeless in the sense that the same things keep happening over and over... way to go Brandon... yeah, you lost Cronkite....

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
